Meet Ryan Wellman
Teaching
With a degree in music and 20+ years of playing, Ryan Wellman brings a decade of teaching expertise to his students.
He maintains a 100% pass rate for Rockschool and Trinity grades 1-8.
Ryan is currently mentoring 80+ weekly students across 8 schools and privately in students homes. His professional approach ensures every learner achieves their full potential.
Ryan is an associate tutor with West Sussex Music, this requires him to hold an enchanced DBS certificate and complete yearly safeguarding training.
Professional Musician
Ryan spent 10 years as the guitarist and songwriter for Luna Blue, building a social media following of 56,000 followers on Instagram, securing a label deal with LAB Records, achieving 2 million Spotify streams, and achieving multiple BBC Radio 'Track of the Day' features.
He now co-writes for artist Tom High, whose hit 'Can I call you up tonight?' surpassed 1 million streams on Spotify.
Outside his original projects, he performs at Weddings and Events across the UK as the bassist for function band Cube Tuesdays.
